my site | in space 3 - Battersea Barge

On Thursday 24th July Switch take over the Battersea Barge with 10 brilliant emerging artists to create my site | in space 3. Having seen the site for the first time only 2 weeks before the performance, each artist works under time pressure to develop performance in response to it. We curate the work into a show, which is presented to an audience within a few days. Keep your eyes peeled, you never know what might happen.

Mehetabel - domestic live art residency by Justin Allen

Artist Justin Allen recently completed a 5-week domestic live art residency. He was artist-in-residence in a beautiful Victorian house in Hackney for the month of June. The residency culminated in a series of interactive performances on the 2nd and 3rd July.

The home belongs to two of Switch's patrons - a couple who recently gave birth to their first child - baby Frank.

The residency has been documented in collaboration with outstanding photographer Kate Peters. Documentation will go online on Friday 1st August.
